Small Group Options

Take a look at our fall list of Small Groups, mostly meeting VIA ZOOM during Covid 19. Some are preexisting and some are just forming. But all will help provide you with community, fellowship and a place to grow in your walk with the Lord. 

  • NEW CLASS...Young Married w/o kids

  • Bible Study/Support Group

    Bible Study and support group for single ladies meets every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.  For the summer they are meeting via Messenger video chat to finish up their study of Hebrews and then read together Divine Echoes.  If you would like to join this group, contact Jo Keillor 618.367.4897 or Gail Heideman 618.975.6332 for details.

  • Young Married Couples

    Brent & Lolly Shaw lead a small group for young married couples via zoom every Sunday night at 8:00.  New couples are welcome to join and can contact Lolly @ 618.322.1438 for more details

  • Bible STudy/Spiritual Growth

    Sarah & Neil Vanderkwaak lead a small group that begins June 10 and meets every other Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  The group meets at the Vanderkwaak’s home, 1389 Woburn Road (Durley Campground) for a meal, life updates, Bible study, worship and prayer.  The group is currently made up of college age and young adults, but any age is welcome.   • Praychurch

    Pray Church is a weekly ministry of GFMC and we invite all ages to join us as we unite our hearts with God’s heart, renew our commitments to love and serve God, and come against the enemy’s attack on our lives, our families and His church.  Christie Kessinger and Sue Groves coordinate this time of prayer every Sunday night at 4:30 in the lounge.  Contact Christie @ 618.558.3906 or Sue @ 618.699.8430 for details.


    Morning Prayer is facilitated by Lucia Delamarter and is offered every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 7:30 – 8:00 via this zoom link:  Morning Prayer provides a pattern of meeting the Lord each morning.  The liturgy joins scripture readings, hymns, written and extemporaneous prayers and communion to bring this community of worshippers to God each morning.  All who like a guided and structured prayer time are welcome to call or text Lucia @ 618.918.9991 for the password.

  • Celebrate Recovery
